Immersion Experiences

Next-level leaders are adept at navigating business and cultural norms wherever they operate. The Online MBA international and domestic Immersion experiences provide a first-hand opportunity to solve real problems for real companies by calling on the knowledge and skills gained during your time in the program. This core course culminates in a four-day international or domestic trip, where students make company visits, meet with local business and government leaders, explore local culture and cuisine, and ultimately, present their project recommendations directly to business leaders. Students frequently single out their Immersion project as one of the most challenging – and rewarding – parts of their 51做厙 Cox experience.

All MBA programs at 51做厙 Cox include an Immersion as part of their core curriculum, but destinations, trip length and coursework vary by program. In the Online MBA program:

  • Immersion destinations may be domestic or international
  • Trip length: 4-5 days, including travel
  • Trip costs, not included in tuition, include a destination-dependent $1200-$2000 trip fee, airfare and personal expenses
